Late-night club night of house, techno and indie pop headlined by Dylan McPhee and Ethan McGivney at Motion Club.
Motion Saturday is back at Motion Club this Saturday, 24 October, with Dylan McPhee and Ethan McGivney taking the helm. It's a late one, running from 11pm through to 2am, so it's more of a proper night out than a quick trip in and out.
If you've been around the club before, you'll know the Motion Saturday brand. They bill themselves as Aberdeen's home of House, Tech and Indie Pop, and that's exactly what they lean into: a mix of house and tech-house for the dancefloor, with indie pop thrown in to keep it from getting too one-note. It's a broad enough spread that you don't have to be a house purist to get into it, and the indie pop side means there's plenty of familiar ground to hold onto if you're not usually one for the more clubby end of things.
McPhee and McGivney are the two names on the bill for this one, and they'll be working across that same House, Tech and Indie Pop territory the night is built on. It's a double-header, so you've got two sets to get through over the course of the night rather than one long run.

Tickets are £3 to £7, and you can pick them up via Skiddle. The night kicks off at 11pm and runs until 2am, so there's plenty of time to settle in before the early hours.
