Daytime disco for babies and families with a live DJ, parachute games and inflatables at Cowdray Hall.
Baby Boogie returns to Cowdray Hall on Saturday 7 November, from 10:30 to 12:00. It's Aberdeen Art Gallery's daytime disco for the littlest dancers and their families, so it's a morning out rather than a night on the town. The music runs across pop, rock, disco and Northern Soul, with a live DJ playing the hits while facilitator-led activities like parachute games and inflatables keep the room moving. It's designed for babies and their grown-ups to dance together, and the mix of styles means there's something for the parents to recognise too.
If you're planning to stay for a bit, the gallery cafe does hot drinks, cakes, juices and a child-friendly lunch, so you can grab a coffee or a bite to eat before or after. The building is set up for families, with baby changing, a Changing Places toilet and breastfeeding-friendly spaces on hand, which takes a lot of the stress out of heading out with a little one.

Tickets are £9 for one adult and one child, or £16 for a family of two adults and up to three children. It runs from 10:30 to 12:00, so you're in and out well before the afternoon nap. There's also a second date on Saturday 6 March 2027, if that one suits you better.
