The Crescent Record Fair

The Crescent Record Fair returns to The Crescent Community Venue this Sunday 27 September, from 11:00 to 15:00. It's an annual gathering of specialist dealers and collectors that fills the room with collectable vinyl across many genres, with rare first pressings sitting alongside more recent releases by current artists.

There are eight stallholders in total. Some specialise in a particular style of music, while others carry a wide range, so you can spend the morning digging through one specific corner or drift across the whole room. The bar stays open throughout, which is handy if you want to take a break and chat about what you've found.

Its home, The Crescent Community Venue, opened eleven years ago after being transformed from a rundown working men's club into a venue now recognised as one of the best independent venues in the UK. It's a proper community spot, and this fair is one of the regulars that brings it to life.

It's free to attend, so you can just turn up and browse. The fair runs from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sunday 27 September at The Crescent Community Venue, The Crescent, York.
