Carlton Towers is a Yorkshire stately home and estate that's been a family seat since 1614, and it goes back even further than that — it's mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and the house has stayed in the same family by inheritance ever since. The estate is a fair bit larger than just the house, too: it includes a Walled Garden Vineyard, the Stables Tearoom, and the Cooks Kitchen, along with rooms like the Armoury and the Card Room.
The lunch is set up as a way to mark a birthday, a special occasion, or just a slow Sunday in a nice setting. Tables are available from 12:30pm onwards, and it's one of several dates the estate runs throughout the year, so if the 16th doesn't work, there are other sittings to choose from.
