A Christmas-themed Sunday lunch with a private visit from Santa and his elves, where every child receives a special gift.
Carlton Towers is doing a Santa Sunday Lunch on Sunday 6 December, with tables available from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. It's a Christmas-themed lunch served in the state rooms of the house, and the main draw is a visit from Santa for the kids.
If you've never been, Carlton Towers is a historic Yorkshire manor house that's been a family seat since 1614, and it can be traced back to the Domesday Book of 1086, passed down entirely by inheritance. The estate runs to about 250 acres of parkland and includes the Walled Garden Vineyard, the Stables Tearoom, and the Stables at Carlton Vineyard. At Christmas, the house is decorated for the season, and guests are taken through the State Rooms, the Picture Gallery, the Armoury, and the Priest's Hiding Hole.
Lunch is served in the state rooms, and afterwards there's a private visit to the Bow Drawing Room, where Santa and his elf wait by the fireside and every child takes home a special gift. It's a proper family afternoon, with the house tour and the meal leading up to that.

Tables are available from 12:30pm until 2:30pm, and the whole thing runs until 3:30pm. It's £49.50 per adult and £29.50 per child, with children receiving a half portion of the main listed dishes.
