Enjoy a three-course Sunday lunch prepared by in-house chefs in the historic surroundings of Carlton Towers Estate.
Carlton Towers Estate is doing its Sunday Lunch again on Sunday 18 October, one of those recurring meals that's become a bit of a fixture at the estate. It's a three-course lunch prepared by the in-house chefs, served up in the historic surroundings of the house itself. If you've never been, it's a proper sit-down affair rather than a quick bite, and because it's a recurring thing, it's as much about the setting as it is about the food.
The three courses are handled by the estate's own kitchen team, so it's all made on-site. It's the kind of thing that works just as well for a family get-together as it does for a birthday or any other occasion that calls for a proper meal. Since it's a three-course deal, you're in for a long, slow lunch rather than a rushed one, and the historic rooms around you do a good job of setting the pace.
It's a paid event, with tables starting from 12:30. The cost is £45.00 per adult and £25.00 per child, so it's set up for families as well as couples. If you're planning to bring the kids, that child's price makes it a bit easier to justify as a family outing. They also do gift vouchers for the Sunday Lunch, which is a handy shout if you'd rather give the meal as a present than book it yourself.

Booking is done through the Carlton Towers website, and since it's a set lunch with specific table times, it's worth getting your spot sorted in advance. With the 18 October date confirmed, you've got plenty of time to get it in the diary. Tables start from 12:30, £45.00 for adults and £25.00 for children.
