A speedquizzing session hosted by Andrew Firth with prizes, drink and food vouchers; £2 per player, max 6 per team.
SpeedQuizzing is back at The Old Liquor Store on Wednesday 26 August, with Andrew Firth hosting the night. If you've never come across it, it's a bit different from your usual pub quiz: instead of scribbling answers on a bit of paper, you'll be using a device to get your answers in. It's fast, it's competitive, and it's all about how quickly you can react.
Andrew Firth is the one running the show, and he's got a few things on the table for the winning teams. There are prizes up for grabs, and drink and food vouchers in the mix too, so there's something to play for beyond just the bragging rights. It's the kind of night that works best when you've got a few people you know, rather than just turning up on your own.

On the practical side, it's £2 per player, and teams are capped at six people, so if you're thinking of pulling together a group, keep that in mind when you're rounding everyone up. The session runs from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, and you'll find The Old Liquor Store on Bishopthorpe Road, YO23 1FT. It's a mid-week one, so it's as much about the drinks and the company as it is about the quiz itself.
