A high-energy musical theatre revue with iconic Broadway Junior songs performed by a young cast, suitable for the whole family.
York Stage are bringing Raise Your Voice: MTI Broadway Junior Revue to the Joseph Rowntree Theatre on Friday 7 August, with two more performances on Saturday 8 August. It's a musical theatre revue, which means rather than one story from start to finish, you get a collection of songs from across the Broadway Junior catalogue.
That's the core of it: the show works its way through iconic songs from Broadway Junior favourites, performed by a young cast. The set is built around those big numbers, but there's room for the quieter, heartfelt moments too, and the whole thing is described as having plenty of personality. It's a feel-good show for the whole family, so it's as much for the kids as it is for anyone who just likes a bit of musical theatre.
