Pasta Academy

Pasta Evangelists are bringing their Pasta Academy to Hotel Indigo York this autumn, a series of beginner-friendly pasta-making classes that run from late September through to November. It's the first time the brand has brought the Academy to the North, and it comes as part of an ongoing collaboration between the hotel and the chefs.

Each session is two hours long and designed for people who've never made pasta before. You'll be working with specialist Pasta Evangelists chefs who teach traditional Italian techniques and how to make fresh pasta from scratch, with unlimited Prosecco flowing throughout the evening. It's a hands-on class, so you're actually making the food rather than just watching someone else do it.

There are six dates to choose from, so you can pick one that fits your schedule. The first two are on Friday 25 September (6.30pm-8.30pm) and Saturday 26 September (5pm-7pm). After that, there's Saturday 31 October (5pm-7pm), Sunday 1 November (1pm-3pm), Friday 20 November (5pm-7pm), and Saturday 21 November (1pm-3pm). If you're after a weekend afternoon, the Sunday and Saturday dates work; if you'd rather something in the evening, the Friday and Saturday slots are there.
