The eighth edition of the music festival, showcasing punk, folk and rock bands, held at The Fulford Arms.
One For The Road returns to The Fulford Arms from 16 to 18 October, marking the eighth edition of the festival. It's a three-day run of punk, folk and rock acts from around the world, and it's become a bit of a fixture in York's live music calendar — the kind of thing that brings the same crowd back year after year.
Meryl Streek headlines Friday night, Headsticks take Saturday, and local artist Harrison Rimmer closes the weekend. Rimmer is a particular constant here: he's played every year since the festival started, so he's been part of the line-up since the very first edition.
Around them is a long list of other acts across the three days: The Bad Nights Sleep, Texas Forever, Lyon Estates, Sing Ramona Sing, Jasmine Lowe, Blake Cateris, Northcote, Rob Moir, Tim Vantol, Katie MF, Jack Kendrick and Chris Laycock. That's twelve more names to slot in alongside the three headliners, so there's plenty to choose from if you can't make the whole weekend.
