On My Way brings Northern Soul to rise @ bluebird in Acomb on Friday 16 October. It's an evening of Northern Soul classics, with dancing and participation as much a part of the night as the music itself.
If you're not familiar, rise @ bluebird is Bluebird Bakery's evening arts venue in Acomb. It's a room that regularly hosts live music, spoken word, art exhibitions, theatre, comedy and family-friendly nights, alongside a pop-up restaurant. It's an independently run creative hub driven by local community support, and its DJ nights are free of charge.
