Baps & Buns Burlesque

Baps & Buns Burlesque returns to Bluebird Bakery on Friday 11 December, a festive special of the regular cabaret night at Rise@Bluebird Bakery. It's hosted by York's own Freida Nipples, an internationally award-winning burlesque artiste who's been fronting the night for some time now. Around her, a selection of cabaret acts fill the bill, running from drag queens to acrobats, so you'll see a fair few different styles on one stage.

Freida's been a regular fixture on the York scene for the last six years, and her shows have sold out across the city at venues like York Theatre Royal, The Basement and Impossible. This one is a festive special of the regular night, so it's a good way to get a cabaret fix as December kicks in.

The night runs from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with doors opening at 7:00 and the show starting at 8:00. General admission is from £28, and that includes a welcome drink on arrival, with a non-alcoholic option available too. The venue is Bluebird Bakery, 201 Acomb Road, Acomb, York.
