Annual community ceilidh with food, fun and dancing led by the band FiddlersWreck, open to all ages within the Minster community.
York Minster is hosting its annual community ceilidh on Friday 25 September, with the band FiddlersWreck leading the dancing. It's a night of food, fun and lively music, with a light supper served before the dancing gets going. All ages are welcome, and you don't need any dancing experience to join in.
It's run as a Minster community event rather than a general public one, open to all corners of the Minster community: those who attend services, work or volunteer there, and those who take part in the Minster's children's and youth activities. There's no bar on site, so you bring your own drinks and disposable glasses are provided.

It runs from 7:00pm to 9:30pm, with the entrance via the South Doors. Tickets are £12.50 for adults, £5 for students and children aged 5 to 17, and free for children aged 4 and under and carers.
