Award-winning aviation illustrator and comic artist Keith Burns displays his work at the Yorkshire Air Museum, with the artist present to meet visitors and sign work.
Keith Burns is bringing his work to the Yorkshire Air Museum on Saturday 17 October. He's an award-winning aviation illustrator and comic artist who's spent nearly twenty years drawing for the page, with a particular focus on Second World War aviation.
If you've come across his name before, it's likely through his collaborations with writer Garth Ennis on titles like Johnny Red, Out of the Blue and The Boys. His work has appeared in 2000AD, Commando and at the RAF Club in London. He's a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists and has twice won the Aviation Painting of the Year Award. He's also illustrated twelve Second World War Ladybird books and recently painted the 6,000th cover of Commando.
On the day, Burns will be at the museum to meet visitors, sign work and talk about his career and his creative process. The exhibition is supported by DC Thomson, the publishers of Commando.
