Halloween Chocolate Masterclass

York's Chocolate Story is running a Halloween Chocolate Masterclass from 26 October to 31 October, so there are a few different days to pick from if you're planning your Halloween week. It's a hands-on session led by a chocolatier, and the whole point is to make your own spooky Halloween treats rather than just watching someone else do it.

It's one of several chocolate-themed experiences they've got on at the same time, so if you're in the mood for more than one, you can build a bit of a day around it. There's the Trick or Treat Trek, which is a mix of treats and spooky surprises; the Tour & Halloween Truffle Rolling, an immersive guided tour that lets you roll your own truffles; and the Chocolate Bar Making Workshop, where you design and create your own chocolate bar. If you're going with a group, you could each pick a different one and compare what you've made at the end.

Beyond the chocolate, the masterclass is part of the city's wider 'Haunted York' and 'Haunted York, Family Friendly Halloween' programmes, so it fits into the broader run of things happening across town that week.
