Charity golf tournament hosted by Dementia Forward at Pike Hills Golf Club.
Dementia Forward are hosting their Charity Golf Day at Pike Hills Golf Club on Thursday 17 September, a full day of golf in York with all the proceeds going to the charity.
If you're a golfer, the format is straightforward: you'll spend the day on the course at Pike Hills, playing through the round with the knowledge that your entry fee is going directly to Dementia Forward. It's a charity tournament, so the focus is as much on the fundraising as it is on the golf, and it brings together players from across the region for a single day on the greens.
For those who aren't as familiar with the organisers, Dementia Forward is a York-based charity that supports people living with dementia and their families. A day like this is one of the ways they raise the funds that keep their services running, so it's a good one to get behind if you're looking for a way to contribute while spending a day out on the course.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in York and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
