A self-guided activity where visitors can craft their own chocolate lollipop in the Chocolate Cafe at York Cocoa Works, with options for non-dairy chocolate and dietary requirements.
York Cocoa Works is running a chocolate lollipop making session in their Chocolate Cafe, and it's on from 9:30am to 5:00pm, seven days a week, through to 31 December 2026. It's a self-guided activity, so you're not following a rigid class schedule; you just turn up when it suits you.
When you're there, the team provides the chocolate, the instructions, and a range of decorations, and you take it from there to design and create your own lollipop. Each one comes out to around 30-35g. While your chocolate sets in the cafe's fridge, you can order drinks and refreshments from the cafe menu, so there's no standing around waiting. Once it's ready, your finished lollipop is packaged and labelled on the spot, meaning you can walk away with it straight then.
