The local Neighbourhood Policing Team is hosting a free Bike Register event at The Knavesmire, outside the Little Yorkshire Coffee Co. This initiative is designed to help residents protect their bicycles from theft and improve the chances of recovery if they are lost or stolen. During the event, officers will be available to register bicycles on the national BikeRegister database, provide bicycle security marking, offer crime prevention and cycle security advice, and answer local community safety questions. Cyclists are encouraged to bring their bikes along to take advantage of this opportunity to safeguard their property.
