An evening with bestselling author Penn Cole, known for her magical worlds and angsty romance, celebrating the release of the final instalment of The Kindred's Curse Saga.
Penn Cole is coming to The Creative Centre at York St John University on Tuesday 6 October, and the night is all about the final instalment of her Kindred's Curse saga, which is being published for the first time. If you've been following the series, this is the one that wraps it all up.
Cole is an internationally bestselling author known for magical worlds, feisty women and angsty romance. The Kindred's Curse is a slow-burn romantasy epic that mixes magic, romance and high-stakes adventure as war engulfs Emarion and unlikely alliances are forged to save mortalkind. It's been translated into more than a dozen languages and became a global BookTok sensation, so if you've seen it popping up on your feed, this is the series it belongs to. The evening celebrates the release of the saga's final book, which until now has remained unpublished.
There's a bit of a career shift behind the books, too. Before she started publishing, Cole worked as an artist and an attorney. Born and bred in Texas, she now lives in France with her husband, where she says she can usually be found eating too many pastries and trolling her readers on Discord. That's the person you'll be hearing from on the night.
