Halloween-themed mini cake decorating session and behind-the-scenes kitchen tour at Wright's Gourmet House, with prizes for best costume.
Wright's Gourmet House is hosting a Halloween edition of its cake decorating class on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. It's part of the Wright's Cake Decorating collection, and this particular session is a mini cake decorating class led by the house cake decorators themselves.
The morning is split between two things. First, you'll pick up the decorators' favorite tips and tricks, and then you'll frost and decorate your own mini cake to take home. Along the way, you get a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, so you can see how the cakes are actually made. It's a hands-on session, and you walk away with something you decorated yourself.
Since it's the Halloween edition, costumes are welcome, and they're awarding prizes to the best dressed, so there's a reason to lean into the theme. If you're coming hungry, the Wright's breakfast menu is served from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, which overlaps with the class.
