A quarterly live music programme featuring soul music, local vendors and family entertainment in the West River Development area of downtown Tampa.
West River Live returns to The Boulevard on Tuesday, October 20, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a quarterly live music program put on by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, and this one centers on soul music.
Beyond the music, there will be local vendors on site, so it's more of a community gathering than just a concert. The whole thing is geared toward families, with the music and the vendors running side by side. It's a free event, so you can just show up and hang out for the evening.
Location-wise, The Boulevard is part of the West River Development in downtown Tampa. The program is set up to serve the residents of the Tampa Housing Authority's development right there, which gives the whole thing a bit of a neighborhood feel. If you're in the area, it's an easy way to spend a Tuesday evening with some live soul and a few local stalls to browse.
