South African singer Tyla brings her A*POP World Tour to The Yuengling Center in Tampa.
Tyla plays The Yuengling Center on Saturday, December 5, at 8 PM. She's a South African singer-songwriter who's become one of contemporary pop's fastest-rising international stars, and this is part of her APOP* World Tour, her first full headline tour across North America, Europe, the UK, and Africa.
If you're just getting caught up, the breakout was "Water," the song that put her on the map and introduced millions to the way she blends amapiano, Afrobeats, R&B, and pop into one sound. Things really took off in 2024, when she won her first Grammy and made Billboard chart history with "Water" and her debut albums TYLA and TYLA+. That run led to another Hot 100 and Grammy-winning hit, "PUSH 2 START," and sent seven songs to the US Afrobeats chart. "CHANEL" stands out as a highlight on APOP*, the 14-track album the tour is named after.
Coming from South Africa, she's built her name on that mix of African rhythms and contemporary pop production, and she's known for a charismatic stage presence and powerful vocals. This is her first time headlining a full tour of this scale, so the set will draw from the material that's defined her rise over the last couple of years.
