All-ages Halloween skate night with a DJ spinning Michael Jackson hits, a costume contest and drink specials.
Skateworld Tampa is hosting its Thriller Skate on Saturday, October 24, from 7 PM to 9:30 PM. It's a Halloween-themed skate night at 5121 N Armenia Ave, and the whole session is open to all ages, so it works as a family thing or just a night out with friends.
On the music side, a live DJ will be spinning Michael Jackson favorites and spooky hits throughout the night, and there's a costume contest for anyone who wants to dress up. Between laps, you can grab café and drink specials from the snack bar. It's a trick-or-treat and skating event rolled into one, with the DJ keeping the energy up for the full two and a half hours.

One thing to handle before you head over: everyone has to complete the online waiver before entering, so it's worth taking care of that ahead of time rather than waiting until you're at the door. Admission is $1, and regular skate rental is extra if you don't have your own wheels. The session runs from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at Skateworld Tampa, 5121 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603-1405.
