Free community conversation on how diet, sleep and exercise affect cognitive health, with resources for caregivers.
Think Ahead: Brain Health for Every Generation is coming to the Port of Tampa on Tuesday, October 27, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. It's a free community conversation presented by the Tampa Bay Times and AdventHealth, and the title isn't just for show—the whole session is built around how brain health changes as we move through different stages of life.
The conversation covers a few distinct areas. One part looks at the long game: how diet, sleep, and exercise shape your cognitive health over the years. Another is more immediate: how to tell when a headache is just a headache and when it's signaling a more serious problem. And there's a section for caregivers, with what you should know about looking after a loved one with a neurological disorder. It's the kind of stuff that usually gets buried in separate appointments, but here it's all in one room.
Beyond the talk, there's a practical side to the evening. You'll have access to on-site resources from community health and caregiving organizations across Tampa Bay, so if you're already caring for someone or just want to know where to turn when you need help, you can find those connections right there. It turns a talk into something you can actually use.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Tampa and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
