The Showcase by Clutch Cutz

The Showcase by Clutch Cutz returns to Energetic Exotics | Exotic Car Rentals on Sunday, January 17, 2027, from 12 PM to 7 PM. It's the third annual edition of the showcase run by Clutch Cutz Barbershop, and it's presented by Nellie Nellz. The day is built around barber competitions, with cash prizes, trophies, and bragging rights on the line.

There are five categories to watch: Tag Team, Fastest Fade, Freestyle, Blend and Beard, and a Student Competition. Between the heats, live DJs keep the music going, and a fashion show adds another layer to the mix. The venue itself is an exotic car rental shop, so there will be high-end cars on display throughout the day, alongside booths from local vendors. It's a full-day event that pulls together barbering, cars, fashion, and music in one spot.

Clutch Cutz describes this year as arriving with more energy, talent, and experiences than the previous editions, and they've framed it as a day for car enthusiasts and the wider Tampa community. If you're a barber looking to compete, entries are $59 each. For businesses, sponsorship packages run from Bronze at $576 up to Gold at $2,870.

General admission is free, though there's a $25 ticket for those who wait until the day of the event. You'll find it at Energetic Exotics | Exotic Car Rentals, 5460 Beaumont Center Blvd #530, Tampa, FL 33634, from 12 PM to 7 PM on Sunday, January 17.
