Monthly sensory-friendly morning at the Glazer Children's Museum for children with sensory sensitivities and their families.
Sunshine Sunday is back at the Glazer Children's Museum on Sunday, October 25, from 8 AM to 10 AM. It's a sensory-friendly morning built for children with sensory sensitivities and their families, and it runs on the last Sunday of every month. If you miss this one, the next date is December 27.
The museum changes things up for the morning: they turn down the lights and the sound and bring in additional supports to keep the environment calmer, so kids can explore the exhibits at their own pace. Beyond those adjustments, they provide sensory-adapted tools, special programming, and community resources. It's also a chance for families on a similar journey to connect with one another.
