Monthly outdoor market with more than 50 local vendors of produce, artisan goods, foods, art and jewelry, plus live local music on the green at Midtown Commons.
Sunshine Market at Midtown returns to Midtown Commons on Saturday, October 24. It's run by Tampa Bay Markets, and it's a monthly thing that's been growing since 2021. The market takes over the green at Midtown Commons, and on this particular Saturday, you'll find more than 50 vendors set up across the space.
What you'll find there is a mix of local makers and growers. There's fresh produce from local agriculture, artisan goods, and take-home foods and baked goods for when you're not eating on the spot. You'll also find art and jewelry from local makers. It's the kind of market where you can pick up your produce for the week and a piece of jewelry in the same trip. The whole thing is dog- and family-friendly, so you can bring the kids and the dog along.
Live local music kicks off at 10 AM on the green, and it runs through the morning and afternoon. The market itself is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, which gives you plenty of time to wander the stalls with the music playing in the background. It's a year-round event that happens on the fourth Saturday of every month, so if you miss this one, there's another coming up in November.
