Live concert by Steve Lacy, blending contemporary R&B, funk, indie and psychedelic soul, at The Yuengling Center on the USF campus.
Steve Lacy plays The Yuengling Center on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. It's a solo bill, so he's the only one on the marquee for the night.
If you're not familiar with him, Lacy is one of those artists who doesn't fit neatly into one box. He blends contemporary R&B, funk, indie, and psychedelic soul into something that's hard to pin down but easy to recognize. He first made his mark as part of the band The Internet before stepping out on his own, and since then he's put out acclaimed albums like Gemini Rights. His live shows are built around his signature guitar riffs and smooth, introspective vocals, so that's what you'll be hearing when he takes the stage.
The venue is The Yuengling Center, located at 12499 USF Bull Run Drive on the University of South Florida campus. It's a regional spot that frequently hosts modern soul and groove-oriented pop, so Lacy fits right in with the kind of music that usually passes through here.

The show runs from 8 PM to 10 PM, and since it's a Wednesday night, you'll be in and out in a couple of hours. If you're coming from across town, keep in mind it's over on the USF campus, so you'll want to plan your trip to the North Tampa area accordingly.
