Spring Break Camp: Dino Discovery (K-1st)

MOSI is running a spring break camp for kindergarten through first grade from March 22 to 26, 2027. It's called Dino Discovery, and the whole week is built around dinosaurs. Over five days, the campers explore the subject through science and activities, so it's more about doing and discovering than just sitting and listening.

Since it's aimed at the K-1st crowd, the activities are scaled for that age group. The focus is on dinosaurs, and the approach is hands-on science, which is usually the best way to keep kids that young engaged. Instead of just looking at exhibits, they'll be working through activities that let them piece together how these animals lived and what made them unique.

It runs from 9 AM to 4 PM each day, which is a full day's worth of programming. If you're working through the week, that's a good stretch of childcare to have covered. The camp takes place at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, so the kids are spending their time right in the museum.

Registration is $299, and MOSI members get it for $260. It runs Monday through Friday, March 22 to 26, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
