South Florida Bulls women's basketball team plays the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at the Yuengling Center on USF's campus.
South Florida Bulls women's basketball take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at The Yuengling Center on Wednesday, January 6, 2027. It's a home game for the Bulls, who represent the University of South Florida right here in Tampa.
If you're not familiar with the program, it's been around since the 1972-73 season and moved to Division I in 1982. Since then, they've earned 10 NCAA Women's Tournament bids, the first in 2013 and the most recent in 2025, along with nine WNIT berths and the 2009 WNIT title. They've also taken home two regular-season American Conference championships in 2021 and 2023, and two conference tournament titles in 2021 and 2025. A few names you might recognize have come through the program, like WNBA champion Wanda Guyton and WNBA All-Star Courtney Williams. Jose Fernandez has been at the helm since the 2000-01 season.
The game is at The Yuengling Center, located at 4202 East Fowler Ave on campus. The arena has hosted home games since 1980, and it's gone by a few names over the years: it was the USF Sun Dome, then nicknamed the 'Rose Garden' after late men's coach Lee Rose, and later 'The Keg' when the naming rights changed in 2018. It seats around 10,500, so there's plenty of room if you're bringing a group.
