Alchemy & Stone Co. is hosting a silversmithing workshop at AR Workshop Tampa on Saturday, November 7, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The whole point of the afternoon is to make your own piece of sterling silver jewelry—either a ring or a pendant—and take it home when you're done. You get to choose whether to set a gemstone or a shark tooth into the piece, so you're walking away with something you actually designed yourself rather than just following a template.
It's a hands-on session, and the instructors guide you through the entire process: shaping the metal, setting the stone or tooth, and adding those final personalized touches. They describe it as being for curious learners, students, and skill-builders, and they're clear that no prior experience is needed. General admission starts at $178, and that covers all the tools you'll need to make your piece. There are optional upgrades available if you want to go a bit further. If you're bringing someone under 18, they'll need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parking is free, and the workshop runs at AR Workshop Tampa, 2414 South MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL 33629. Doors open at 1:45 PM, so you've got a few minutes to get settled before things kick off at 2:00.
