Halloween trunk-or-treat car meet where car enthusiasts show off their rides and families enjoy a night of trick-or-treating.
Scares with Cares is coming to New Life Village on Saturday, October 31, starting at 6:30 PM. It's a trunk-or-treat car meet that brings the local car community together for a Halloween night with a purpose.
If you're into cars, the setup is straightforward: bring out your car, truck, bike, or build and deck out your ride or your trunk for Halloween. While the car people are showing off their builds, families will be heading from trunk to trunk for the trick-or-treating. It's a trunk-or-treat in the truest senseβthe cars are the stations where the candy comes from.
The organizers frame it as more than just another car meet, describing it as a chance for car enthusiasts to come together, have fun, and give back. That "giving back" part is where the "cares" in the name comes from, and it's the reason the event is set up as a community gathering rather than just a show. It's as much about the families and the neighborhood as it is about the cars.
