October Craft Night: Make Your Own Bag Charm

October Craft Night is at DI Coffee Bar on Wednesday, October 28, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The month's project is a bag charm, and you'll spend the evening putting one together from scratch. You'll work with beads, colors, letters and tassels to make something one-of-a-kind, and all the materials are provided, so you don't need to bring a thing.

There's no artistic experience required to join in. The session is guided, which means you'll be walked through the process rather than left to figure it out on your own. It's set up as a creative night out—the kind of thing that works as a girls' night, a date, or just a low-pressure way to spend a Wednesday evening getting your hands busy and meeting new people. You'll leave with a finished charm for your bag, and you won't have to worry about having a particular skill level to get there.

This is part of a monthly series held on the last Wednesday of every month at DI Coffee, with each session pairing a different guided craft with conversation. Rebecca Kerper organizes the nights, and the bag charm is the specific project for this October edition.
