Annual glow-in-the-dark Christian skate night at United Skates of America with contemporary Christian music, costumes encouraged and pizza for rent.
United Skates of America is bringing back its annual glow-in-the-dark Christian skate, Light The Night, on Saturday, October 31, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at their rink on 5121 N Armenia Ave in Tampa. They're putting it on with Spirit FM 90.5, and the whole session is built around contemporary Christian music playing over the speakers while the rink glows.
It's an all-ages affair, so it works for individuals, families, and youth groups. Costumes are encouraged, provided they're in good taste, which fits the Halloween date. One thing to keep in mind before you head out: everyone coming along needs to complete an online waiver before entering, so it's worth getting that sorted ahead of time rather than waiting until you're at the door.
Admission is $15 per person, and that includes your skate rentals, so you don't need to bring your own pair. Non-skating parents get in for free, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids to without worrying about the cost adding up. If you're coming with a group and want something to eat, there's a large cheese pizza and a pitcher of soda available for $22.
