Floridas largest celebration of Indian culture with dance teams, fashion, art, crafts and authentic cuisine.
The India Festival returns to the Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 31, 2026, for a full day of Indian culture. It's Florida's largest celebration of its kind, and it's run by the Gujarati Samaj of Tampa Bay on a volunteer basis. The festival takes over the Expo Hall and Entertainment Hall at 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N in Tampa, and it's open from 9 AM to 10 PM.
Throughout the day, the grounds fill with dance performances and a marketplace of Indian fashion, jewelry, art, and crafts. There's also a wide variety of regional Indian dishes to eat. The organizers describe it as a joyful showcase of tradition, youth empowerment, and community pride, and all proceeds go toward youth education and preserving Indian culture for future generations. It's an annual event that usually draws more than 12,000 people, so it's a good idea to plan your day around the different things going on.
