Healthy Family Fair

The Healthy Family Fair returns to Water Works Park on Saturday, January 9, 2027, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Organized by the Tampa Bay Moms Group, it's an annual gathering that the group bills as the area's most family- and kid-friendly event, built to educate and celebrate all areas of health, wellness and safety for families.

On the health side, there are free health screenings, wellness resources and safety information. It's the kind of thing that's easy to put off when life gets busy, so having it all in one place makes it a lot simpler to knock out in a single afternoon. The fair also has a charitable side: they're accepting donations of toiletries and personal care items for West Florida Foster Care Services, so if you've got some extra soap or shampoo in the cabinet, it's a good time to bring it along.

That's the serious part, though. The rest of the day leans toward the lighter side, with an inflatable obstacle course and bouncers for the kids, a face painter and a balloon artist to keep them occupied, food trucks for when you get hungry, and live entertainment throughout the day. It's designed so you can get the health stuff done while the kids are actually having a good time, rather than dragging them along to a series of appointments.

It all happens at Water Works Park (1710 N Highland Ave, Tampa, FL 33602) on Saturday, January 9, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Admission is free.
