Halloween Movie Night!

New Heights Dance Academy is hosting a Halloween movie night for kids on Saturday, October 24, from 6 PM to 9 PM at their studio, 4709 N Florida Ave in Tampa. The main feature is a screening of Addams Family (the animated version), and the whole evening is built around it.

The movie isn't the only thing on the agenda. Before the film starts, there's pumpkin painting, pizza, and Halloween games for the kids to get into. It's set up as a full party rather than just a screening, so the activities lead up to the movie. Costumes and Halloween pajamas are encouraged, and the academy asks to keep things not too scary—so it's more about the festive side of the holiday than the spooky side.

New Heights Dance Academy is the one putting it all together, and they're running the whole night. If you're looking for a way to get the kids into the Halloween spirit without anything too frightening, this is a pretty straightforward option. It's a single evening that combines a few different activities—painting, eating, and games—before settling in for the movie.

It runs from 6 PM to 9 PM on Saturday, October 24, at 4709 N Florida Ave in Tampa, with Addams Family (Animated Version) as the feature.
