Small-group functional fitness session with a certified personal trainer to bring strength training into everyday movements.
Embrace Movement Spaces is running a functional fitness workshop at 4632 N Florida Ave in Tampa, starting Monday, Oct 19. It's not a one-off; sessions run on Mondays at 6:15 AM, with dates on Oct 19, Oct 26, Nov 2, and Nov 9, among others. Each session lasts 45 minutes.
The whole thing takes place on the studio's strength floor, and they keep the groups small—capped at four people. That's the main draw here: you're not just one face in a crowded room. With only a few people per session, you get direct coaching from a certified personal trainer who works with you throughout the workout. The goal is to make fitness practical and fun, rather than just another chore on the to-do list.
As for what you'll actually be doing, the focus is functional fitness. The idea is to take strength training and bring it into the movements you use every day, connecting the lifting you do in the gym to the way you move through your actual life. It's about building strength that serves a purpose outside the studio.

A few practical things to keep in mind before you sign up: the workshop is for ages 18 and over, and it's an in-person session. There's free parking at the venue, so you don't have to worry about hunting for a spot before a 6:15 AM start. Just a heads-up that there are no refunds. A session pass is $54.
