Florida Bridal & Wedding Expo

The Florida Bridal & Wedding Expo is coming to the Florida State Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 18, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. It's taking over the Entertainment Hall, so if you're planning to go, you'll want to head to the US Hwy 301 Entrance, Gate 1, at 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N in Tampa.

The whole point of the day is to get a huge chunk of your wedding planning done in one go. Instead of spending weeks chasing down separate vendors, you'll find a wide selection of wedding professionals all under one roof. That means you can talk to people about gowns, reception venues, invitations, photographers, music, the menu, and honeymoon destinations without leaving the building. It's the kind of setup that lets you compare a few different options side by side rather than jumping from one appointment to another across town.

Since it's a single-day event, it's a good way to knock out a lot of the big-picture stuff in a few hours. You can walk the floor, see who's working in the area, and get a feel for what's available for your date before you commit to a full round of consultations. Admission is free if you register online, or $10 at the door. It runs from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, at the Entertainment Hall in the Florida State Fairgrounds.
