New craft festival with handmade arts and crafts and a green market area at the waterfront park in downtown Tampa.
The Downtown Tampa Craft Festival is a new addition to the city's calendar, running Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park. It's built around handmade arts and crafts, with a green market area that brings together a range of hand-picked goods and eco-friendly products. If you're into things made by hand rather than mass-produced, this is exactly the kind of thing to keep on your radar.
The location is one of the better spots in downtown. Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park is a waterfront park sitting along Garrison Channel, tucked right between the Tampa Bay History Center and the Hillsborough Riverwalk. It's described as an oasis of serenity in the city center, and given its position on the water, it's a good place to spend a slow afternoon. The festival takes over the park for the weekend, so you can wander through the booths and the green market without having to rush off anywhere.
It's also worth knowing that the park is a regular for the arts scene here. The Tampa Fine Art Show by Hot Works is scheduled for February 2027 at the same venue, so if you enjoy this one, there's another art-focused event coming to the same spot a few months later.
