Free Conservation Connections day at ZooTampa to learn about reptiles, with the ZT Saves Kids' Club and a new 'Flora the Explorer' puppet activity.
ZooTampa at Lowry Park is hosting Conservation Connections: Reptile Awareness Day on Saturday, October 17, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. It's part of the zoo's monthly celebration series, which is run by their Education team. The whole day is built around the reptiles under the zoo's care, with the team talking about the animals they have on-site and the work the institution does to protect them in the wild.
If you're bringing kids, the ZT Saves Kids' Club is back this month with interactive activities and a stamp-collecting passport to work through. There's also something new this year: Flora the Explorer. You can download and make your own Flora puppet, photograph her in action around the zoo, and share the pictures on their social media.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Tampa and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
