Free family fall festival with bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, games, prizes, snacks and a Trunk or Treat at the church grounds.
New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Tampa Florida is hosting its Community Fall Festival on Saturday, October 31, from 4 PM to 7 PM. It's one of the church's most popular annual events, returning every October with a full afternoon of activities for the whole family.
The church grounds fill up with bounce houses, candy, face painting, and games, alongside food trucks and snacks for when you need a break. There are photo ops and prizes to work toward, and a Trunk or Treat for the kids to go from car to car. It's the kind of spread that keeps children busy for hours, so you can actually hang out and talk to other people while they run around.
NMZ Tampa describes the festival as something they "don't miss when it comes to our community," and the lineup of activities reflects that. Between the bounce houses and the Trunk or Treat, there's enough going on to cover different ages and interests in one spot. If you've got kids, it's a straightforward way to spend Halloween afternoon without having to coordinate multiple stops across town.
