Community Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat

Trinity Presbyterian Church is hosting its Community Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, from 5 PM to 9 PM. It's a free evening open to everyone in the community, so you don't need to be a member of the church to stop by. The whole thing is presented by Trinity Presbyterian ARP Church, and they've put together a mix of Halloween traditions and family activities that run throughout the night.

The main draw is the trunk-or-treating, where kids can go from car to car to collect candy, but there's more to it than just the sweets. They'll have lawn games, a bounce house, and a fall photo area to snap some pictures while you're there. There's also free popcorn to snack on as you move around. For dinner, they're giving away a free meal consisting of an all-beef hot dog, chips, and a drink. Around 7 PM, the evening shifts toward a movie on the lawn, so if you bring the kids early, you can spend the first few hours on the activities and then settle in for the film.

One thing to keep in mind: every family or household needs to fill out a Family Registration & Participation Waiver before they can join in. It's a simple enough step, but it's something you'll want to handle ahead of time so you aren't sorting it out while the kids are already eyeing the bounce house. The festival runs rain or shine, too—if the weather turns and keeps things from happening outside, the games, food, and movie all move indoors, so a little rain won't cancel your plans.

It's all happening at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 14925 N. Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33614, on Saturday, October 31, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Admission is free, and everyone in the community is welcome.
