College basketball game between the Charlotte 49ers and the South Florida Bulls at the Yuengling Center in Tampa.
The South Florida Bulls take on the Charlotte 49ers at The Yuengling Center on Thursday, January 7, 2027. It's a mid-week matchup in the middle of the college basketball season, so if you're looking for a game to get you through a Thursday afternoon, this is a good one to keep on your radar. The Bulls are the home team here, and they'll be playing in front of their own crowd in Tampa.
It's a standard NCAAM game, which means you'll get the full college basketball experience: the fast pace, the home-court energy, and the kind of game that can swing in either direction. The Bulls will be hosting the 49ers, so the Yuengling Center should be a friendly place to watch them work. If you've been following the season, this is one of those games that fits right into the thick of the schedule.
Tip-off is at 1 PM EST, so this is a daytime game rather than a night cap. That makes it a bit easier to fit into a workday or a Thursday afternoon, especially if you're already in the Tampa area. You won't have to stay up late for this one—you'll be out of the arena and back to your day well before dinner.
