Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with food and culture from the Latino community in the historic Ybor neighbourhood of Tampa.
The 8th Annual Taste of Latino Festival returns to Centennial Park on Sunday, October 25, from 12 PM to 6 PM. It's a day dedicated to the food and culture of the Latino community, held as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The festival brings together flavors and traditions from across Latin America, all in one spot. The focus is on the food, so you can spend the afternoon eating your way through different regional styles without leaving the park. It's a good way to spend a Sunday if you're into trying new things and want to see the Latino community's culinary side on full display.
Location is a big part of it, too. The festival takes place at Centennial Park, 1800 E. 8th Ave., in the heart of the historic Ybor neighborhood. Ybor has its own deep connection to the city's Latino roots, so having the festival there fits the occasion. It's a spot where you can easily wander around the neighborhood before or after you've had your fill.
