Allergy-friendly Halloween party with non-food trick-or-treating, a DJ, crafts, games and teal pumpkin giveaways.
The 2026 Allergy Friendly Teal-O-Ween Party is coming to Steinbrenner Stadium on Sunday, October 25, from 2 PM to 4 PM. It's an annual family-fun Halloween party presented by Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) Tampa and organized by Tampa Food Allergy Support and Education, and the whole afternoon is built around non-food trick-or-treating. Instead of sweets, kids get teal pumpkin giveaways, so they can join in on the Halloween tradition without the worry of food allergies.
Beyond the trick-or-treating, there's a full afternoon of activities to keep the kids busy. A DJ provides the music, and there's a photo booth for costumes, along with crafts and games to work through. The teal pumpkin giveaways are the centerpiece, replacing the usual candy haul with treats that everyone can enjoy regardless of their allergies.
Because the event is designed for families with food allergies, there are a few rules to keep in mind. No food, pets, or latex balloons are allowed on-site, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. It's a controlled environment, which is exactly why parents who usually have to skip Halloween parties find this one so easy to navigate.
