Alter Bridge plays The Pageant on the What Lies Within Tour with special guests Big Wreck and Tim Montana.
Alter Bridge play The Pageant on Tuesday, November 17, as part of their What Lies Within Tour. They're bringing two special guests along for the night: Big Wreck and Tim Montana.
Alter Bridge formed in Florida in 2004 when four lifelong musicians — Myles Kennedy on vocals and guitar, Mark Tremonti on guitar and vocals, Brian Marshall on bass, and Scott Phillips on drums — came together. Over the next two decades they grew into a hard rock juggernaut, selling out arenas and gathering nearly a billion streams. They started with the gold-certified One Day Remains in 2004 and went on to score six consecutive Top 20 debuts on the Billboard 200. Along the way, Guitarist Magazine named "Blackbird" the "Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time," and Classic Rock called 2022's Pawns & Kings "the Rolls-Royce of Alter Bridge records."
Their self-titled eighth album, Alter Bridge (Napalm Records), keeps the same precise riffs, towering hooks, and guitar solos that have defined them since the beginning. The support comes from Big Wreck, fronted by Ian Thornley, who first burst on the scene in 1997 and returned in 2011 with the #1 single "Albatross." Joining them is Tim Montana, a singer and guitarist who broke out in 2023 with "Devil You Know," which LoudWire named one of the 30 best rock/metal songs of that year.
