Summer Sizzler

Summer Sizzler returns to St. Louis on Sunday, August 29, 2027, with the starting gun going off at 7 AM. It's an annual summer road race put on by Bodies Race Company, built around the motto 'Fun. Family. Fitness.' The organizers describe it as a family-friendly event that welcomes every pace and fitness level, with an encouraging, affordable, and inclusive community.

There are three timed distances to choose from: a 5K, a 10K, and a 15K. If you're not looking for a timed race, there's an untimed 1 Mile and an untimed Kids Dash for ages 10 and under. There's also a virtual race option, so you can run on any day, at any time, and in whatever location you like and still get the swag. Every registration comes with a designer shirt, a custom finisher medal, chip timing with live results, free photos, and free Kona Ice at the finish line. Age-group awards are given for the timed distances.

Bodies Race Company says they partner with local parks to keep their impact on the community minimal. They also host an after-party and offer a free 'Bodies Membership' for early registration access and swag discounts. The race takes place in St. Louis, MO 63101.

Registration for the 5K, 10K, and 15K is $17 for youth 12 and under. There's also a 2027 Bundle for $42, which works out to a 25% discount per event. The race starts at 7 AM on Sunday, August 29.
