Austin post-hardcore band Porcelain plays The Sinkhole on South Broadway, with support from My Wife is An Angel.
Porcelain are playing The Sinkhole on Monday, December 14, as part of their North American tour. They're an Austin post-hardcore band, and they'll be sharing the bill with My Wife is An Angel opening.
If you haven't come across them yet, the band formed in 2022 around frontman Steve Pike, guitarist and vocalist Ryan Fitzgibbon, bassist Jordan Emmert, and drummer Eli Deitz. They're all veterans of the Austin scene, having played in local bands like Exhalants, Super Thief, Votive, and US Weekly before coming together. Their self-titled debut came out in 2024, and they've shared stages with Unwound, The Blood Brothers, and Touché Amoré.
They're touring their second album, Today's Minor Victories, which was recorded live with Scott Evans at Estuary Recording in Austin and released on October 23, 2026, through TODO Records. The record leans into grief, loss, and perseverance: Pike wrote the lyrics over a year of personal loss, and songs like "Apocalypse" and "DSD" draw on his own experiences, including losing his grandmother while mixing live sound at SXSW.
