Free, one-hour guided walk through the Saint Louis Art Museum's collection of works related to 'A Little Night Music'.
Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is taking its 2027 Festival Season into the Saint Louis Art Museum with a series of guided art tours centered on A Little Night Music. The tours run on Sunday, May 30 and Sunday, June 13, both at 1 PM.
Each one is a free, hour-long walk through the museum's collection. You'll be led past sculptures, paintings and themes that speak to the production being staged at the theatre, so the art you see is chosen to mirror what's happening on stage. It's a way to see the show from a different angle before you actually sit down for it.
OTSL has been around since 1976, nearly half a century of identifying, inspiring, training and nurturing the next generation of opera artists, artisans and administrators. They describe their mission as shaping a vibrant future for the art form by connecting, inspiring and entertaining the St. Louis community, while making opera accessible and inclusive through innovative, collaborative storytelling. These tours fit right into that—they're free, they're open to anyone, and they bring the opera out of the theatre and into a space most of us already know.

The tours depart from the Visitor Information Center in the Sculpture Hall of the Main Building. They're free, and there's no ticket or reservation required, so you can just show up. Both dates are Sundays at 1 PM.
